Freeze Dried Sweet Corn is picked and freeze-dried at its peak. The process of freeze-drying involves freezing and then driving the frozen water out of the corn in gas form through lowered surrounding pressure. This preserves the super-sweet flavour and golden yellow colour.
Freeze dried corn is light and fluffy and its texture is very similar to popcorn and can be used as a topping for salads or soups, or in cornbread, muffins or pancakes.
